Alicia Fernández (Project manager)

She holds a bachelor´s degree in Environmental Science and a postgraduate diploma in Science and Technology Communication. She then furthered her studies in Corporate Social Responsibility.

Before joining UNIR, she worked for 13 years at research institutions, universities, and botanic gardens in Spain and the United Kingdom. In 2022, she joined the Vice-rectorate for International Research (UNIR Research) as a project manager. Her expertise includes writing proposals, management of national (State Research Agency, Ministerio para la Transición Ecológica y el Reto Demográfico, Regional Government of Madrid) and European projects (HE, H2020 y Erasmus+), and communicating, disseminating, and exploiting R&D&I results.
