He has been involved as editor and has participated as author in various publicatons as journals, books or academic papers. He is the Co-Chair of IEEE special interest group on \u00abArtificial Intelligence and Smart Learning Environments\u00bb and APSCES&#8217;s Special Interest Group on \u00abEducational Gamification and game-based Learning (EGG).<\/p>\n<p>His research interest include open education, game-based learning, educational psychology and artificial intelligence.<\/p>\n<p>In 2020 he received the <a href=\"https:\/\/tc.computer.org\/tclt\/early-career-researcher-award-in-learning-technologies\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">IEEE TCLT early career researcher award in learning technologies<\/a> and in 2021 he gained the <a href=\"http:\/\/research.unir.net\/blog\/el-premio-martin-wolpers-2021-goes-to-ahmed-tlili\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">Martin Wolpers lifetime award<\/a> to excellence in research.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>Ahmed Tlili is a visiting professor at UNIR iTED, and co-director of the OER Lab at the Smart Learning Institute at Beijing Normal University (SLIBNU), China.
