Project Influence

Research Institute for Innovation & Technology in Education (UNIR iTED) have been working on data analysis techniques to identify behaviour patterns and categorize the students by predicting their scores based on previous behaviour patterns.

Project Influence is going one step further by analyzing the influence of different factors (interaction with the studying materials, taking part on discussion forums, class attendance, etc.) in the quality of the predictive algorithms.

The aim is a better understanding of the datasets and its value in predicting the students behaviour. This will allow a better quality dataset generation, and a better understanding of the strenghts and weakeness of the predictive algorithms.
