Ahmed Tlili (Visiting Professor)

Ahmed Tlili is a visiting professor at UNIR iTED, and co-director of the OER Lab at the Smart Learning Institute at Beijing Normal University (SLIBNU), China. He has been involved as editor and has participated as author in various publicatons as journals, books or academic papers. He is the Co-Chair of IEEE special interest group on “Artificial Intelligence and Smart Learning Environments” and APSCES’s Special Interest Group on “Educational Gamification and game-based Learning (EGG).

His research interest include open education, game-based learning, educational psychology and artificial intelligence.

In 2020 he received the IEEE TCLT early career researcher award in learning technologies and in 2021 he gained the Martin Wolpers lifetime award to excellence in research.
