Thesis title: Augmented Reality as a motivational factor and academic performance in Secondary School students.

Thesis abstract: Augmented Reality is being an instrument of great influence in education. The present work is based on evaluating an augmented reality mobile application that presents content using markers, depending on the levels of motivation and performance that are analyzed, as well as the acceptance of this technology in the Secondary Education stage. In addition, to know the importance of these tools in the learning and motivation of students, the Keller Model (ARCS) will be used. In this sense, the methodology to be used in the research will be mixed, that is, quantitative through questionnaires and qualitative through semi-structured interviews. The research approach responds to a quasi-experimental design in which four phases will be applied to an experimental group and a control group with the aim of studying whether the use of AR influenced motivation, academic performance and acceptance. of this type of technology by students. In addition, it seeks to know the perceptions that teachers present regarding the use of AR as a teaching tool and the problems they encounter.
