Project V-Tours (Erasmus + KA2 Strategic Partnerships)

The need for dialogue between Education and enterprises is therefore not related only to placement: placement is a consequence of candidates suitable to job vacancies, rather than a simple matching between degrees and job posts. Career offices have worked since years to foster mobility through internship and traineeships, in order to enhance dialogue between academia and enterprises to one side, and to foster self-awareness and development of soft-skills and transversal competences in students to the other side.

Project Open Med: Opening up education in South-Mediterranean Countries (Erasmus+ Capacity Building in Higher Education programme)

Openness in Higher Education seems to be common sense for the equal and democratic access to knowledge. Stimulating supply and demand for high-quality OERs is essential for modernising education. If universities really want to find more resources to invest in better teaching and research, it is essential that the open sharing of resources is encouraged. Knowledge must be shared and spread, teachers encouraged to network and collaborate on course development and institutions discouraged from fragmentation and all producing their own slight variations on the same course.

Project ISE: Inspiring Science Education (Competitiveness and Innovation Framework Programme)

Inspiring Science Education is significantly contribute to the implementation of the “Digital Agenda for Europe” and in particular Action 68 “Mainstream eLearning in national policies for the modernisation of education and training, including in curricula, assessment of learning outcomes and the professional development of teachers and trainers“, and to the wide adoption of the recommendations of the Rocard Report “A new Pedagogy for the Future of Europe”(Rocard et al., 2007), that sets the basics for the introduction of the Inquiry Based approach in the science curricula of the Member States.

Project Intuitel: Intelligent Tutoring Interface for Technology Enhanced Learning (FP7-ICT)

INTUITEL aims to create a rule based system of content and technology, where the knowledge of instructional design experts and knowledge domain experts is mapped into an ontology and rules in order to automatically reduce the complexity of the learning process decisions to a level suitable for the individual learner.

Project EU-USR: University Social Responsibility in Europe (Lifelong Learning Programme)

The EU-USR project will create a European model to enhance social responsibility of universities in a long-term perspective. The project will use a bottom-up approach which starts from some leading EU universities in the field of USR. USR will support the achievement of a European Area of Higher Education by developing of a common European Framework for Universities Social Responsibility.
