The first transnational meeting of the BeWare project takes place in Lisbon

The first transnational meeting of the Erasmus+ BeWare project: Development of Professional Courses in Building Resilience and Sustainability to Extreme Weather Events was held in Lisbon (Portugal) on 25th and 26th May.
The project aims to teach professionals to make building envelopes more resilient to extreme weather and climate change by using innovative and sustainable solutions.
The meeting was an interactive gathering, with many discussions regarding project management and project results. Instituto Superior Tecnico, Universidade de Lisboa, hosted the meeting involving ten participants from all project organisations: Universidade de Lisboa (Portugal), Rheinisch-Westfaelische Technische Hochschule Aachen (Germany), Creative Thinking Development (Greece), Institute for Research in Environment, Civil Engineering and Energy (Republic of North Macedonia), and Universidad Internacional de La Rioja (Spain).
Universidad Internacional de La Rioja, through the Research Institute for Innovation & Technology in Education (UNIR iTED) and the Higher School of Engineering and Technology (ESIT), provides to the project its extensive experience in using digital tools to develop the VET training programme and will lead the Guidelines and Policy Recommendations to ensure the project’s sustainability.
