2 against 200. When the minority hijacks the reason

At the 39th UNESCO Conference General, Education Commission, we have been through a bizarre situation. 2 countries were blocking the will of 200. 2 were prepared for pressing a political demand, a need for attention. 200 were missing discussion time on educational issues, the real reason to meet up from all over the World. 2 are leaving the organization (we hope that not for good?) because of political reasons, 200 are staying and watching their time wasted because of a selfish behaviour. It seems that Education is now also a war tool in civilized countries. Instead of doing a gentle exit these two countries decided to make a noisy one, forcing another excuse to leave, that was induced by them. A pity, a shame, a waste, a circus, a calculated play.

All the way done to France from home, one week off family and work team just to check that some minorities keep forcing a binary World where everyone is definitively against if they are not in a neat, crystal-clear favour. Fuzzy logic, 50 shades of flavours, midway negotiation, honest discussion, global care of SDG 4, all of these are irrelevant if 2 hijack the reason of 200.
