International Academic Research Activity with the Greatest Impact Award

Every researcher wishes that its projects leave a meaningful mark on the academic community and have a lasting impact on society—not only today, but also for future generations. International outreach is one of the greatest aspirations of universities and, from the Vice-Rectorate for International Research Projects, we aim to recognize those initiatives which, from a transformative and excellence-driven perspective, have generated significant impact in the scientific, academic, and/or social spheres—not only at the European level, but also globally.

With this purpose, the International Academic Research Activity with the Greatest Impact Award has been established. This distinction is intended to recognize such initiatives with high transformative potential in the short and medium term.

The award is aimed at UNIR research staff who have participated in international research projects funded by public and private bodies, both at the European and global levels. The prize will consist of public recognition of merit as well as a financial incentive, demonstrating the Vice-Rectorate’s commitment to internationalization and excellence in international research activities.

Applications must be submitted through through this form, which will be available from Monday, April 13th until Friday, June 12th, for those who are interested. The selection process strictly ensures fairness and equality. Once the application period has ended, submissions will be reviewed by a jury composed of the Vice-Rector and internal and external members of UNIR.

Through the application form, candidates must include supporting documents presenting the project, along with evidence demonstrating its value.
