Online High-level Side Event of the 76th session of the UN General Assembly

UNESCO invites you to the 76th session of the UN General Assembly under the theme: closing the global knowledge gaps to build back better: the potential of Open Science.
In the context of the International Day for Universal Access to Information, and taking into account the progress on the development of the UNESCO Recommendation on Open Science, the event will bring together UNESCO Natural Sciences and and Communication and Information sectors to raise awareness of the critical role of access to information and open science in the efforts to build resilience “through hope to recover from COVID-19, rebuild sustainably, respond to the needs of the planet, respect the rights of people, and revitalize the United Nations.”
The event will be held in English and French on the Zoom platform.
