Calling all Science Teachers Take part in an ISE competition and win a trip to Greece!
Now in its final year, the Inspiring Science Education (ISE) project is organising two major events; the Inspiring Science Education conference on 22-24 April and the Inspiring Science Education Summer Academy on 10-15 July. Enter one of the three ISE educational contests and win a chance to take part in one of these events.
- The ISE Scenario Competition 2015-2016, highlighting excellence in the creation of learning scenarios based on the tools, resources and materials available in the Inspiring Science Education Portal. The deadline for submission of entries is 4 March 2016. Up to 5 finalists will receive full scholarships to attend the ISE Conference in Athens in April 2016. The winning teacher will receive educational hardware & software for their school from Vernier, providers of distinguished interfaces, sensors, software, and curriculum.
- The Eratosthenes Experiment Online Lesson Contest: Join our Eratosthenes Experiment Community, view and copy the Eratosthenes Experiment lesson (for Elementary or High school), run the lesson through our Inspiring Science Education platform and win a chance to take part in the 2016 ISE Summer Academy in Athens in July. Submission takes place automatically with the completion of the lesson. Run your lesson between 21-30 March. The winner will be selected by draw!
- The Eratosthenes Photo Contest: Take a photo of the experiment or the work behind it or a creative snapshot of those involved in the experiment and win a chance to take part in the 2016 ISE Summer Academy in Athens in July. The deadline for submitting your photo is 10 April 2016.
