Logroño, La Rioja, Spain, 10 September 2021.
SHERPA (Shaping the ethical dimensions of smart information systems– a European perspective) is an EU-funded project which analyses how Artificial Intelligence (AI) and Big Data analytics impact ethics and human rights. In dialogue with stakeholders, the project is developing novel ways to understand and address these challenges to find desirable and sustainable solutions that can benefit both innovators and society.
Horizon Europe funded research that includes AI enabling technologies is required to comply with the principles of Ethics by Design. In this context the Ethics by Design Course is launched to provide the opportunity to participate in the same programme as delivered to the Ethics Reviewers for Horizon 2020.
This training is aimed at researchers, developers, technicians planning to develop or deploy AI technologies in Europe in the context of Horizon Europe, other stakeholders of Horizon Europe who are involved in proposal development and project delivery, such as National Contact Points, university research administrators or consultants, and researchers, developers, or technicians.
