Scientific Leadership in International Research Projects Award

Just as every ship needs its captain, every project requires a Principal Researcher with a clear scientific vision and strong leadership to guide the team and guide the project towards optimal results. Through the Scientific Leadership in International Research Projects Award, the Vice-Rectorate for International Research Projects seeks to recognize those researchers who, through scientific leadership, have driven forward and consolidated research proposals and projects—not only at the European level, but also globally.

The aim is to acknowledge scientific leadership in international research projects, valuing scientific excellence, coordination capacity, and contribution to the international positioning of our university. This award is open to UNIR research staff who have led or are currently leading international research projects funded by public or private organizations.

The prize will consist of public recognition as well as a financial incentive, demonstrating the Vice-Rectorate’s commitment to internationalization and excellence among UNIR’s teaching and research staff.

Applications must be submitted through this form, which will be available from Monday, April 13th until Friday, June 12th, for those who are interested. The selection process strictly ensures fairness and equality. Once the application period has ended, applications will be reviewed by a jury chaired by the Vice-Rector for International Projects and composed of both internal and external members of UNIR.

Through the application form, candidates must include supporting documents presenting its performance, along with evidence demonstrating its value.
