“The art & science of Learning Design”, UNIR co-authored the most influential book in the field
A reference for Learning Designers worldwide. The TELS-Craftmor book “The Art & Science of Learning Design” has gathered the analysis and opinions from the most well-known experts in the field. Universidad Internacional de la Rioja (UNIR), through UNIR Research, has authored a chapter dealing with the IMS Learning Design specification, written by Daniel Burgos, Vice-Chancellor for Research and Technology.
Prof. Burgos was part of the implementation team of IMS Learning Design at the Open University of The Netherlands, led by Prof. Dr. Rob Koper; Burgos designed and programmed the first Unit of Learning ever implemented, along with an extensive record of other Units of Learning within the three levels of abstraction (A, B, C), in addition to scientific publications and general dissemination. All of them are available at Dspace OUNL and ResearchGate.net.
