E-Ducation: Transforming teaching and learning with technology-based tools and resources

The Erasmus+ project “E-DUCATION: TEACHING AND LEARNING AFTER 2020“, ending in February 2023, aims to offer the European educational community a series of free and open tools to facilitate effective actions in online learning environments. All these tools are designed to help optimise the use of technologies in education, minimise the impact of the digital divide on students and provide teachers with information and training on assessment in digital environments.

The intellectual products developed in the context of this European project include:

A report developed by Conecta13 is based on a literature review and a series of interviews with various educational agents. This report provides a solid theoretical foundation and supports the need for the remaining tools created throughout the project.
Check&Act, an innovative tool developed by the Research Institute for Innovation & Technology in Education (UNIR iTED) at Universidad Internacional de La Rioja (UNIR), offers comprehensive support for educational centres in their digital transition process. Available in 4 languages (Spanish, English, Italian, and Portuguese), the tool includes a comprehensive e-book and an interactive feature to aid teachers, management, and guidance teams assess their digital competence level. The tool is based on 4 dimensions: self-knowledge, methodology, coordination and leadership, and assessment. Based on the assessment results, the tool recommends a series of resources created by project partners to facilitate the integration of digital technologies in the school environment. A tutorial is available showing its key features.

Mobile Learning, developed by Creativ, provides teachers and management teams with a standardised, graduated, and user-friendly approach for training in schools and self-training for teachers in both formal and non-formal contexts.
E-testing, developed by Fundación Santos Mártires de Córdoba, offers teachers information and assessment training in digital environments and a catalogue of specific assessment instruments that guarantee clear, standardised and up-to-date assessment processes tailored to the characteristics of each educational setting (face-to-face, distance or hybrid).
Gap radar, developed by Fundación Santos Mártires de Córdoba, is a multi-platform app that is based on student performance, providing information to different educational agents such as teachers, tutors, counsellors and management teams in the form of alerts when a risk of a digital gap is detected, thus facilitating the adoption of measures and the activation of intervention protocols.

The project website provides in-depth information about all the tools available. Conecta 13 has also created a free, self-directed course to assist users in utilising these tools effectively.

The project results will be presented at the E-Ducation: Teaching and Learning after 2020 International Congress on the 23rd and 24th of February in Córdoba.

E-Ducation is a project funded by the European Commission within the Erasmus+ programme framework. Coordinated by Fundación Santos Mártires de Córdoba and with the participation of the Spanish Universidad Internacional de La Rioja (UNIR), University of Córdoba, and Conecta13; Agrupamento de Escolas Rainha Isabel from Coimbra (Portugal) and the Italian Istituto Istruzione Superiore “Abraham Lincoln”, Eurolingue School and Creativ.
