Welcome to this webinar series on “AI and Other Digital Tools for Education for Sustainable Development (ESD)”.
Description
This webinar series is organised by UNECE and the Research Institute UNIR iTED and it falls under the scope of Strand 3 of the UNECE Education for Sustainable Development Strategy (2021-2030) focuses on the integration of digital technologies and ICT to support and enhance sustainable learning. It emphasizes the development of key competences such as critical thinking, collaboration, and problem-solving through innovative and resilient educational approaches. These webinars are part of the capacity building activities which focus on the implementation of the fourth priority strand on digital education and ESD.
This webinar series explores how digital tools, such as artificial intelligence, can be used critically and ethically in Education for Sustainable Development. Through a range on expert led sessions, participants will engage with topics such as disinformation, responsible digital practices, and innovative methodologies, gaining practical insights to apply digital technologies effectively in educational contexts.
