UNESCO Webinar on OER policies development

Logroño, La Rioja, Spain. July 27th, 2021

The Unit for Technology and AI in Education organises a webinar on the development of national policies and strategies in Open Educational Resources (OER), to be held on 27 and 28 July 2021.

The main purpose of the webinar is to spark discussion around the development of OER policies, strengthening the capacities of policymakers to leverage the potential of OER for building post-pandemic technology-enabled resilient learning systems and reiterating the humanistic guiding principles and themes that should be reflected by such policies.

It will be an opportunity to present resources such as the 2019 Recommendation on OER and the UNESCO Guidelines on the development of open educational resources policies, as well as to discuss emerging trends in the field of OER policymaking and facilitate peer learning and resource sharing among Member States.

The event will include education programme specialists from UNESCO, international experts, and stakeholders of Member States who have recently developed ICT and OER policies.

This webinar will be held in English and French.
