The successful candidate will work as senior researcher in the EU project Hotel, Holistic Approach to Technology Enhanced Learning: FP7 Programme-ICT-Call 8, Grant Agreement: 318530 (http://hotel-project.eu/)
The candidate will be responsible for the design, organization, implementation and evaluation of Learning Exploratorium Labs in Higher Education. Exploratoria involve society, and the ecosystem described for each of them, taking into consideration the various roles and services provided. Every Exploratoria promotes innovation across stakeholders inside the environment, and across the Exploratoriums, orchestrated by HOTEL, making the user the real unit of activity and communication node of this infrastructure
Ref. Vintec-2014/05: Senior developer (FTE 1, 8 months)
The successful candidate will work as senior developer in the A4Learning project, a research initiative towards the use of analytics and visualization techniques to improve learner’s performance. (http://blogs.unir.net/elearning/proyecto-a4learning/)
The candidate will participate in the design and development of analytics techniques and visual representation of the discovered information, as well as in the development of data capturing methods in the learning/teaching context. The candidate is expected to be familiar with Java, Javascript, PHP, Python and MongoDB; and also to master data mining techniques. Valuable, complementary skills are creativity, teamwork, communication skills.
