Three Awards to Promote International Research Excellence at UNIR
Alongside teaching, research is one of the fundamental pillars of UNIR. The university is committed to developing high-quality proposals that foster knowledge and have innovative and transformative potential, serving society at large.
The Vice-Rectorate for International Research Projects is responsible for promoting, coordinating, developing, and strengthening the university’s international research activity. It acts as the driving force behind international research, with more than 60 projects at both European and international levels, working transversally with all faculties and institutes.
With this commitment, in 2026 the Office of the Vice-Rector for International Projects presents three awards aimed at recognizing research excellence, scientific impact, and international leadership among UNIR’s faculty and research staff:
- Best International Research Project Award: Its objective is to recognize, highlight, and promote excellence and innovation in international research. To learn more about the award, click here.
- International Research Academic Activity with the Greatest Impact Award: Its objective is to recognize high-impact initiatives that have significantly contributed to the advancement and development of knowledge at the academic, scientific, and/or social level. The winners of the three awards will receive public recognition and a financial incentive.
