Best International Investigation Project Award

Research, along with teaching, constitutes one of the essential pillars of a university’s scientific and academic outreach. Research staff, a key element in this endeavor, contribute decisively—through cooperation—to the advancement of knowledge and represent one of the highest expressions of the university’s commitment to global society. The Award for the Best International Research Project was created with the aim of celebrating and recognizing the talent, international reach, and strategic vision of the teaching and research staff of the Universidad Internacional de La Rioja.

Through this award, the Office of the Vice-Rector for International Projects seeks to highlight those projects that, beyond their scientific excellence, have successfully built strong collaborative networks and promoted innovation within their field of study.

This award is open to all teaching and research staff of UNIR (or Research Groups, where applicable) who have participated in internationally funded research projects supported by either public or private entities. It is not limited to the European sphere; projects developed at the international level worldwide are also eligible.

The award will consist of public recognition of merit as well as a financial incentive, demonstrating the Vice-Rectorate’s commitment to internationalization and excellence in international research projects.

Applications must be submitted through a form, which can be found here. The selection process strictly ensures fairness and equal opportunity. Once the application period has ended, submissions will be reviewed by a jury composed of the Vice-Rector and internal and external members of UNIR.

Through the application form, candidates must include a series of documents presenting the project or proposal, along with evidence supporting its value and impact.
