Rubén Gonzalez

Professor Rubén González Crespo is an Engineer in Computer Engineering and an Engineer in Industrial Engineering and a Doctor in Computer Science from Universidad Pontificia de Salamanca. He is a Professor in Computer Science and Artificial Intelligence by the Ministry of Universities of Spain. He is currently Vice-chancellor for Organization and Academic Planning at Universidad Internacional de La Rioja. He is founder and editor-in-chief of the International Journal of Interactive Multimedia and Artificial Intelligence and associate editor of various indexed scientific journals. He is an advisor and collaborator of the Ministry of Education, both Spanish and Colombian, in the field of Quality of Education and University Research. He is president of the Engineering and Architecture Commission for the evaluation of university degrees of the Community of Madrid, Spain, at the Madri + d Foundation. Previously he was Director of the Higher School of Engineering and Technology (ESIT) and Director of the UNIR-AENOR Chair at Universidad Internacional de La Rioja; He was also Director of the Postgraduate Department of Universidad Pontificia de Salamanca, as well as head of the Chair of Operating Systems of the same university. He was a visiting professor for more than eight years at Universidad de Oviedo, Spain, and a visiting professor for more than ten years at Universidad Distrital Francisco José de Caldas, Colombia. He has given numerous seminars and conferences in Europe and Latin America on Project Management, Artificial Intelligence, Industry 4.0 and has received various awards related to his activity. His research focuses on the field of Applied Artificial Intelligence, Cybersecurity and Accessibility. Within his transfer activities, he is an evaluator of international projects for the FECyT, SENACYT and COLCIENCIAS, among others, he collaborates in different ISO committees and participates as a researcher in European projects and national projects.
