How to get to the hotel from the airport:
- The nearest Metro (subway) stations to the hotel are “Tetuan” (line 1), “Cuzco” (line 10), with access to the Madrid Barajas International Airport in 20 minutes. The hotel is located nearby and easily accessible by Metro, line 8 until Colombia, Line 9 Colombia to Plaza Castilla, line 1 Plaza Castilla to Tetuan (Total 9 stations).
- How to travel through the Madrid Metro Network
Free maps are available at every ticket window and posted at the station entrance. Every line has a number and color, and is named by the last stop on each end. (e.g. line 3, yellow, Legazpi/ Moncloa). Switching between lines is free once you enter the system. It’s easy to find the correct platform, as signs in the corridors clearly list every subsequent stop in each direction. Train frequency is also posted at every platform.
- How to get Madrid Metro Ticket
You can buy metro passes inside the station at a ticket machine or window, or on the street at nearly any “quiosco” (kiosk) or “estanco” (tobacco shop). Credit cards may not be accepted everywhere, so it’s a good idea to keep cash on hand.

Valid for one journey only between Metro stations in the municipality of Madrid (Price Zone A) y ML1.
10 Metrobus journeys – 12,20 €
The Metrobus ticket is valid for 10 journeys either on Metro Zona A or EMT (buses), indistinctly, with which it is not necessary to have a different ticket for each form of transport. It is valid in all Metro stations within Zone A and all EMT stops, except for the Plaza de Colon-Airport route.
Cancellation of the ticket on every journey is mandatory. For this purpose it has to be inserted in the turnstiles at the station of entry, as well as in the exit turnstiles at those stations that are provided with them.
If the turnstile does not accept tickets that the users consider are still valid, they should go to the nearest point of sale.
