Logroño, La Rioja, Spain. 29 June 2021.
The Virtualization of Universities program, led by Universidad Internacional de La Rioja (UNIR), has started on June 28 and will last for 12 weeks (75 hours of duration equivalent to 3 ECTS credits). This training action is directed by Prof. Dr. Daniel Burgos, director of the Institute for Educational Research, Innovation and Technology (UNIR iTED), and has the support of the Ministry of Education of Peru (MINEDU) and the University of San Carlos de Guatemala (USAC), who will be responsible for inviting attendees to the course until a total of 50 places are filled.
The main objective of this program is to provide skills and tools to university staff (teachers and managers) who are not familiar with online work, so that they can transfer and adapt their experience to this new methodology. The program takes advantage of the experience of university teachers and managers to build a methodological and technological framework that will facilitate their transition to the online model, since it is based on practical and interactive group and individual activities.
