DS4Skills-GO Project: Deployment of a European data space for skills
The DS4Skills-GO project aims to deploy a European Data Space on digital skills through the implementation of eight applicable and sustainable use cases.
It was based on the European Data Strategy which aims to harness the value of data for the benefit of the European economy and society, through the creation of European Data Spaces in a number of strategic areas: health, agriculture, manufacturing, energy, mobility, finance, public administration, skills…etc.
Building on the infrastructure developed in the framework of the EDGE-Skills project, DS4Skills-GO will demonstrate the practical benefits of creating a data space on digital skills and job opportunities.
DS4Skills-GO is structured around six work packages, each focusing on a key aspect of the project. The project ensures efficient management, which is dominated by quality assurance, establishes strong governance frameworks, maintains the operations of the data space and focuses on capacity building, knowledge sharing and policy recommendations.
The DS4Skills-GO project is funded by the European Commission under the Digital Europe programme.
La Universidad Internacional de la Rioja – UNIR participates through the Research Institute for Innovation & Technology in Education (UNIR iTED), playing a key role in the technological development of the case studies, leading the work package number three.
